FlyFF Boss Hunting, does NOT only mean "FINDERS KEEPERS". It means more than just spotting the boss mob first, but when you get to
lock it first then its yours.
A PRO Gamer knows and understand by heart the word SPORTSMANSHIP, and knows how to ACCEPT DEFEAT.We are not newbies on playing MMORPGS, and aren't dumb to understand how it is played and how to deal with different kinds of players, from scammers to "goodie-good", to "feelers", and to "real players". Before FlyFF, we used to play RAN Online and Air Rivals. All three have the same basics.. really simple.

FlyFF, you can't even maneuver your Ignice Board with only 218 km/h or your fastest Meteo Bike / board with 276 km/h speed.
Now compare that to our
Air Rivals' gears with JetF-1 engines at 500 km/h speed!
We have been playing FlyFF since February 3, 2009 and have been boss hunting since level 34.. we've crossed paths with lots of other hunters like us. And the most important lesson we have learn is ALWAYS BE READY AND ALERT.
It happened one time, we already spotted a Giant Boo, but we have no buffs at all.. so we buffed up ourselves, but someone came (so suddenly and we didn't notice him either) and jumped up from his board and start hitting the giant. We didn't say anything. He didn't heard anything from us, we continued on looking for another boss monster. And later that someone become our good friend, his IGN is
kumOp.
Lesson learned: BE READY & LEARN HOW TO ACCEPT DEFEAT!
We also befriended other hunters in Glaphan area.

†ANDEE† (i forgot how his RM's name.. haven't seen him for a while) sometimes both of them send us messages asking if we were boss hunting so they could have the whole spot on their own. But when we are hunting and they were there, our settlement is down to who gets to lock the boss mob first. Even their RMs jumped from their board to get the giant first, hitting it with their stick. :D
Same pact goes with the other hunters, lock it in and you'll get it! No words utter, continue or surrender. Sometimes groups are in 3's roving the same channel, really challenging and exciting! The survival of the fittest and the luckiest! ;)
Sometimes, we have even activated the party skills FC & GB when we thought we already locked the monster first, but to our dismay somebody from afar had already targeted the boss monster and had locked it up already. Same thing, they never heard anything from us and we continued on looking for another boss monster.
Unlike this one particular player -
BPniMaayos. He was cursing to death because we got the giant that he spotted first. He was still buffing himself, and
bbKUN (who was fully buffed), jumped down from his board and hit the giant. He was claiming to be very good in this game, since he started since V3 and he had already made 3 characters who now have the fame of a HERO. But I wonder why up to now-V13,
he haven't learn those lessons that we have learned within the 7 months of playing FlyFF! And why the heck is he still hunting in the area where we are hunting? He threatened us, and got his friends to back him up so he could kill us. He succeeded on killing one of us, that costed us 1 Scroll of Blessing, and costed him a "Red Name" (1 PK point). It didn't matter since we always have our SOBs ready.
He was claiming to be this and that, but can't even spell the word "title". He spell it like this:
T-I-T-T-L-E! And now, he is spreading false words against us.. proclaiming his
title as the best there is. He was like a baby crying because someone stole his candy away. :P
What now if you think our characters are weak? Look at all our items and penyas.
Can you - yourself get it in the same amount of time we've started playing? We have started playing from SCRATCH, without anybody's help or asking for help/donations and without spending real money (PhP)
or buying coupons. And without kissing an RM's butt!! Imagine that!
We have already spent lots of real money just for a game, and that is RAN Online.. but after the gold / duplication bug that happened last December 2008.. everything changed. That's why we found our way back to FlyFF. *welcome!* :P

BPniMaayos: Learn from it! It could be hard swallowing your pride, but in the end it is worth it.
Just reminiscing the good old days.. when we use to depend on Pang's (the penguin) level 7 buffs. Unupgraded and unawaked NPC items we used to wear, hunting boss monsters without any accessories. Simply relying on our partnership and guts.
